The 2025 World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference opened in Beijing on September 11. Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Chairman Peter Semone stated that China is" unique and unexpected." He suggested that China further strengthen its external communication, and promptly address international tourists' concerns about practical issues, so as to inject new momentum into the development of the global tourism industry.
